This is a bit of a stupid problem but it's driving me crazy! While I was on holiday for a week the person responsible for looking after my cat didn't change the cat litter frequently enough and she has done her business on my carpet.

Unfortunately the carpet is cream and I cannot get the stains out of it for the life of me.... any advice on how to clear it up? I've tried the usuals like vanish and 1001 and stuff..

Thanks!

you could try going to the shop for stuff for cars. cant mind its name, and try a can of dry cleaning spray, works wonders on oily car carpets. other than that a pot plant or rucksack covering it would also be effective :o)

Boilogical washing powder. Mix up a paste and paint it on, work it into the stain and fingers crossed. Rinse it off and see what happens. be careful of the colour though ight affect it

:) The Pet Shop and household shops have a spray for cleaning cats mess in carpets. you spray it on and leave it, then hoover it away. Vanish is also very good. Good-luck.
