No not the football team but the birdies with forked tails and sickle wings - which seem scarcer than they used to be.
There were 5 flying above the Coop carpark this morning. They used to nest in the old brewery before it was demolished but the Mansons Lane apartment block which replaced it came complete with swift nest boxes - on the side facing Dunnets Garage.
If you see swifts entering the nest boxes or see them anywhere else in Thurso, please post a message.
