Hi chainsaw, ex bat hens can be rehomed from the British Hen Welfare Trust (www.bhwt.org.uk), you let them know you would like to rehome some hens and they let you know when they will become available in Scotland, all they ask for in return is a donation to help them continue their fabulous work. My name is down to rehome some from their next collection, if the hens can't be rehomed they are slaughtered so it's really worth giving them a chance of a normal life and their eggs are your reward!
