Wick man accused of knife assaults
A WICK man is to stand trial on charges which involved threatening behaviour and a knife.
Richard Donn (24)appeared from custody at the town's sheriff court today and pleaded not guilty.
The charges allege that he assaulted Christopher Mallan and held a knife to his face and pushed the point of the blade against his cheek and chasing him. Donn, described as a prisoner at Inverness prison, is also accused of assaulting Kevin Anderson and holding a knife close to his throat.
The offences which further accused him of threatening or abusive behaviour, are alleged to have occurred in Saltoun Street, Wick. on February 4. Donn will return to court for his trial on May 22.
