View Full Version : off for a while guys..
hi guys just to let you know that im not going to be around for a wee while.. and thats also the reason ive not been on in the past few days.
ive been in hospital! *grrr*
ive have gall stones and pancritis.
soooooo... long story short cause of all of the extenuating circ. they are going to go ahead and do the surgery.. but im off to raigmore to have it.
they said that the danger to the baby was negligable..
and that it would actually be better to have the surgery .. than risk another attack of pancritis.
which could cause more damage to me and the baby.. and possibly throw me into premature labour.
there is the risk of pre-labour with the surgery.. but its a case of the lesser evils..
so wish me luck. and all goes well ill be back in about a week or so.
they have me down at raigmore on mon. with the surgery on tues.
so fingers crossed guys!
I really hope it all goes well for you and your baby. All I can say is that I have every faith in Raigmore having had more than my fair share of ops there, I'm sure they will take great care of you. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

the dr has just called a while ago.
and has moved the time up.
i will be off tomorrow now and surgery on monday.
as their is an opening in the elective surgieries on monday.
hope this is one of those weeks that fly by!
hospital gets boring really fast! *grins*
and again thank you all again for your support and well wishes!

dr just told me to report there and they would sort me out ! *laughs* not even started packing yet.

You can get at emails and the internet on those expensive tv/telephone things in the hospital.

that would have been hubby online *G* not me!
but all went well. baby is fine and startin to kick me now.
im really sore. but with 4 holes in me kinda expected that.
they think i will get home on wed. so fingers crossed.
and hopefully by tomorrow my sore bits wont be so sore!

You should still be laying in that hospital bed like a lady of leisure being waited on hand and foot by staff and relatives alike.
Take it easy (keyboard operation excepted :) ) until you are fully recovered and welcome home!

And JAWS is right - feet up, accept being waited on! Although I notice that he didn't volunteer to come round with a bowl of soup.
*laughs* im not totally bed bound, and its easier sitting up than laying down!
its the getting up and down that causes the problems!
trying to get out of bed is the hardest .. streatching and pulilng at my poor wounded belly! *grins* and the baby kicking my wounds is no fun either!
hubby is off for the next week and a half.. to pamper me.. so not to bad..
*smiles*
gonna take advantage!! most def!
