Motor cyclist dies in two-vehicle accident
POLICE say that the motorcyclist who died in a two-vehicle collision near Thrumster was a 28-year-old man who is not being name meantime.
He sustained fatal injuries when his bike was in collision with a van, a mile south of Thrumster, yesterday afternoon. A passenger in the van was also seriously injured.
Diversons were in place for six hours while officers carried out an investigation at the A99 crash scene.
They are appealing for witnesses who should contact them through the following number 01463 715555
