Well I've just been to see Casino Royale and I loved it. I was worried it had lost the usual Bond humour but there was a bit and it was definitely a film for the ladies too!! What did other Org peeps think?

I saw it last nite and thought it was absolutely brilliant!
Best film I've seen in a while and would definitely recommend it!
Just don't expect it to be like the other bond films as it's quite different

I have never willingly watched a Bond movie, but having seen some stills, especially the swimming trunks one, I'll give this one a go. I need to clean some dipteries from my eyes ( translation of a portuguese proverb! ;) )

I'm prob going this weekend, am a big fan of the Bond films. The bestest ever Bond is Sean Connery, but am looking forward to a fresh take on "a younger rougher Bond". Should be interesting!

Thoroughly enjoyed it. I was sceptical as I'm not a Daniel Craig fan, but he had won me over by the end of the movie!

Went tonight and really enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed the introduction....very clever use of the 'suits' from a pack of cards. See the film and you will understand. I enjoyed seeing Daniel Craig as 007.......excellent physique.

We went to see Casino Royale earlier on tonight, and rather enjoyed it. I have to admit I didn't like the early part of it too much, but it got better as it progressed. It's more violent that the other James Bond films, and Bond seems more of a cold blooded killing machine. Overall, I quite like Daniel Craig as Bond. He reminded me a bit of the late Steve McQueen to look at. He's not as smooth as Roger Moore or Pierce Brosnan, but more rugged like Sean Connery. I'm not saying that he's in the same calibre as Sean Connery, but he definitely has potential, and I look forward to seeing him in further Bond movies.

I saw it yesterday and I thought it was a superb film. 100 times better than Die Another Day. Bond is definately back.

I'm pretty sure being a 'junior member' i am not an 'Org peep' but i shall comment anyway

I was so pleased with the film, i had hoped it would be excellent (not just because i enjoy bond film but also to show the pathetic people who were judging Dainel Craigs acting ability and suitiblity for the role based on his hair colour), It was so glad when i heard Martin Campbell would be directing Casino royale (he also directed goldeneye, which was undoubtedly the last decent bond film, even though pierce Brosnan was a very suave Bond), and Daniel craig definatly deliver, he acted the part and the script was well thought out and balenced between action and plot. Also Eva Green deserves credit, she portrayed her character well and didnt steal the spotlight from Daniel Craig. The Character of Bond is diffrent from the Bond Brosnan played, but this was in no way a bad thing (after all in many ways the slick english spy had been reduced to a grining apparition, spouting pathetic one-liners and driving that cringe worthy invisible aston martin). The new bond is a breath of fresh air and im sure the 22nd and 23rd Bond films (both of which Daniel Craig has already been signed to do) will be eagerly anticipated :D

I really enjoyed it not sure if other half did, bit too slushy for him but not for me. Danny Craig mmmmm. I didn't think much of his bond girl though. Another thing I like was the landscape shots, not sure where but I thought it might be Italian lakes? Anyone know of the locations they shot the film?

I think this was the kind of Bond movie Pierce Brosnan wanted to make, but Cubby Broccoli wouldn't let him. Now old Cubby is finally off to tend God's vegetable garden* a breath of fresh air has swept through the whole enterprise. I really enjoyed it, especially the wee homages to the old stuff (the Moneypenny reference etc). I imagine the overall budget must have been a lot higher too (was the falling building a set or CGI?). I haven't seen a Bond movie on the big screen since I was in Wick HS (does the old Pavilion cinema count as "big screen"?) so I'm pleased to see they're worth it again.

(*Hey when your family invents a vegetable surely there must be perks!)
