As far as I know, it is Saturday the 2 of December, with the Christmas light being switched on the night before hand, Friday 1 December, at 6:30pm.

Seen on the .org that there is a wee concert in the square beforehand.

Due to problems last year when Round Table, Rotary and TTIA put on a great show but were let down by at least one other group this year the affair pretty limited with, I am told, those grouos not participating.
