Looks like you are right - wind is already getting up. Have been watching this site with interest. Looks like we might be in for a bit of a bumpy ride over the next 24 hrs.

i recently treated myself to a weather station,
here are the readings at the moment, you might as well say i am at bell mount above scrabster for the location.

barometric pressure 965.0mb and still falling
temp 4.4c
wind chill -12.8c
wind steady at 46mph,
biggest gust so far 53.2mph from the South.


this is just the begining.

I don't think the image can be uploaded to the site. You'd have to upload the image to a website first of all and then you can post it by using the img tags and the url.

this is the web site i bought mine from, sorry for the delay in answering, just got our power back on from 11.30 last night.

before our power went out, the biggest gust was 60.1mph, but when i have downloaded the stored information i will post it up for you to see.

I wonder what the max wind speed is rated at - many self-destruct at 100 mph or so - though I guess that's bo more than once every 2 years. maybe you can but spare wind speed bits...
