Water lane thurso?

According to the 1891 Census,there was a WATER LANE in THURSO. Does this still exist and where would it be?:Razz

I can not really say and the only thing I could find on our Map of Thurso Dated 1906 is this.

Just up from Old St Peters Church was a Lane named, "W. T. Lane" I have no idea what the "W. T." stands for and your guess is as good as mine.
