Five taken to hospital after after two-vehicle crash
THE A9 at Skiach, Evanton was closed in both directions and diversions put in place following a serious accident, earlier today.
Five casualties from the two vehicles have been taken to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.
The female passenger from one of the vehicles, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. The female driver and two children from the car and the female driver from the other vehicle were all treated at the scene and transferred to hospital by road ambulance.
It is anticipated that the road will be closed for at least a further hour.
