Marriage:1862, on Fifth day of December, at Hemprigg, parish of Wick, after Banns according to the Forms of the Reformed Presbyterian Church (signed) Donald Bruce, Fisherman, Bachelor, 28, of Sarclet and (signed) Helen Wares, Domestic Worker, Spinster, 29, Hemprigg.
His parents: William Bruce, Farmer and Anne Bruce M.S. Donaldson; hers: Donald Wares, Farmer and Janet Wares, M.S. Wares. Witnesses: Donald Wares & Donald Allen.
Children were: Jessie Bruce, William Bruce, David Wares Bruce, Ann Bruce, James Bruce.

My paternal family name is MORE
Helen's brother William m a Janet MORE (one of mine ) in 1863.
