I know it is obvious and logical, but it never struck me that you could travel by train from Wick to Thurso.:D

I guess you could stop for a picknick at Georgmass.[lol]

I wish to complain in the strongest possible terms about the above conversations. As a member of the Fish & Train Timetable Association of Convenors (Scottish Branch) I resent untrained freelance cowboy fish pricers and train timetable scanners wrenching an honest crust from my lips, and dashing away the cup of palliative and strengthening water which sustains my quotidian labours. Did Keir Hardie and Arthur Scargill die for this? Trails of blood and sacrifice mark the steps of our struggling martyrs! Doom to the revanchists! Man the barricades. Nurse!

Errrrr -- (in a small voice) Scargill's still alive PMCD......

Anyway, as Chairperson of the British Collective of freelance cowboy rogues, I resent your interference with the workings of our free market economy. Privatisation is the name of the game you know and in these times of recession and cutbacks, especially on those damn' benefit scrounging unemployed peasants who do not work in the banking industry. So it's stiff upper lip time, backs to the wall; and I'm not VAT registered so I'm doing right by poor suffering humanity.

Just going off thread slightly..............Does anyone know the price of diesel at Tesco today?

Has it gone up from the 74p a litre I last paid there?

Aye - neither could I - so I asked myself to do it.

And I thought - well he's asked nicely so I'll do it as a favour to him.
