Can anyone help please. I can't play programmes on iPlayer. For example, I want to watch Question time and press the Watch Now button in the top screenshot, then get the bottom screenshot but no programme and no other options?

perhaps you should try a different browser, dunno why but I seem to get different functionality with different browsers.

Sorry, still the same. I am increasingly aware that the problem with computers is usually sitting in front of them!

The bar at the bottom usually ells you if you have an update to install, might be something like that

What does this page (http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html) say regarding your installed version. Can you give us details on your operating and browser, if you're not sure going to this page (http://www.systemdetails.com/) will help. Does flash work on other sites that use it; can you play YouTube videos?

Download and run this (http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/files/file/187-tfc-temp-file-cleaner-by-oldtimer/) to make sure all temporary files are removed properly.

Try these offline/download installers for the player depending on your browser:

Flash Player 11 (http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_ie/)for Internet Explorer
Flash Player 11 (http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_firefox/) for other browsers
Flash Player 10.3 (http://www.adobe.com/go/full_flashplayer_win_ie) for Internet Explorer
Flash Player 10.3 (http://www.adobe.com/go/full_flashplayer_win) for other browsers

You'll have to restart your browser after downloading the installer. Try Flash Player 11 first.

It's an annoying meme but this (http://i.imgur.com/lYKlS.jpg) and this (http://i.imgur.com/kuTeo.png) are kind of relevant.
