You can zoom in for pretty good detail! I've only looked at Wick but there are probably cool maps of other parts of the County (and UK)

thank you for that ..I have just been "having a look" for past 2 hours ha ha ..what a super site..on how wick used to look like what was whare and why someplaces got there names..loved it..thanks again xx

No problem ally! Just found it and thought I should share!

Really interesting is ...... there's no 'Spoons! (or Post Office).. a few other places missing that you wouldn't have expected.

I also didn't know that what is now behind/part of the old Police Station, used to be the county jail! (I know that's kinda predictable, but still)

The Post Office then was on Bridge St, next to what they call the "New Hotel", later Station Hotel and now Riverside House. Like Ciderally I just blew a good spell when I should have been working! I must send the link to my son-in-law, as he is fascinated by maps.
