Does anyone ken o' a chiel that can fix a broken acoustic guitar? A tuning peg is broken and it needs re-strung.

is it just the peg itself thats broken? is it a steel string or spanish style acoustic?

Wullie Mackay makes/repairs guitars and he's bloody good at it.
He has a small workshop at his fathers Quarry, i dont have his number just now but if you call 'Mackays Precast' they will give you his number.

moncur, it is a spanish style one with the nylon strings. The cylinder type bit that the string ties round at top is what is broken. Every time I try to tighten it it jumps back and slackens the string. :confused
