Three accident victims are cut from vehicles
TWO women were killed last night in a three-vehicle crash in Kirkwall last night.
A third person is being treated for serious injuries in hospital.
Emergency service converged on the scene of the crash on the A965 Stromness Road, near Sunnybank, Kirkwall, shortly before 10pm last night. The three injured had to be cut free.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the tragedy to contact them immediately on 01856 872241.
It’s the second fatal accident in the Far North this month. A Wick teenager was killed when his car crashed near Bower.
