Hi
I am coming to the Thurso area for a weeks holiday soon and need to have access to a broadband connection so I can still remain in contact with my business. Is there anywhre like a library or other area where a member of the public can get broadband access preferably through a wireless connection using my laptop.

Much appreciated.

Sorry, I’ve stopped chuckling now ;)

If nobody else comes back with a definite answer on this it would be worth your while giving CASE (http://www.hie.co.uk/case) a quick ring – if there is a business offering broadband access there’s a good chance CASE will have thrown some money their way at some point.

As for finding a public wireless network… I 'd pack your modem! ;)

There is Gametime (in the arcade near Woolworths). Not sure if it has a wireless connection but its worth a try.
