Seems to be all change at the Ulbster Hotel in Halkirk, new staff vacancies being advertised and they seem to be trying to break in to the "Wedding Market". Anyone know whats going on? Has it been sold?

Might as well be walking into a pub in London these days-too many staff changes at the same time IMHO.

The old manager left and they now have a new one and it hasn't been sold. As for the weddings... Well they did a couple last year n maybe just realised that there was a part of the market that they weren't cashing in on and decided to advertise. Its just receptions they are advertising though and not the ceremony as well.

Sorry to hear that Keith's gone as we had a bit of affinity, both of us originating from Liverpool. Hope he's moved on to bigger and better things. At least the food's still good. :)

They are down a great guy, with Keith no longer being there. He oversaw our wedding in the Weigh Inn 10 yr ago, cracking day had by all.
Good luck with whatever you are going on to do Keith.
