I have just heard about this film.
I love most things Scottish, and also like 'Big Country' Will I enjoy this film?
I'm thinking of investing in it and cannot imagine why I haven't already heard of it.

incidentally. 'Local Hero' is on film 4 on tuesday evening. This has been hard to get hold of, three months ago it was going for sixty quid on amazon & thirty on e.bay!

IMO Restless Natives was a great film, I loved it, and it was fun spotting the locations becuse it was filmed in and around Edinburgh

I thoroughly enjoyed this film and it's on my DVD wants list since I never got it on VHS and was deleted a few years ago. This is another one that was going for silly prices on ebay etc.

Bought it for a tenner in HMV about 9 months ago. A few of my friends are in the film, and I've clocked every location (in Edinburgh) within the movie. A quality, Scottish indie film.

Wow! they must have done a re-run/re-issue of Local Hero. Several months ago it was very scarce indeed. Thanks.

I really enjoyed Restless Natives and i was living in lochgoilhead at the time it was made and worked in the lochgoilhead hotel that was featured in the film.:D although i never seen them actually filming it, just saw some of the crew members in the village

Restless Natives is brill, one of my favourites and the big country soundtrack is really good too, I have it on CD.
