I was quite surprised to see no mention of Thurso High School winning the 2012 CK EVENTS NORTHERN CONSTABULARY HIGHLAND ROCK CHALLENGE® at Eden Court (http://www.eden-court.co.uk/), Inverness - Tuesday 7th February.

THURSO HIGH SCHOOL (http://www.thurso.highland.sch.uk/), Thurso, Caithness, Highland: the Highland Alcohol and Drug Partnership Award for Achievement in Drug Awareness, the Award for Healthy Lifestyle, the Highland Alcohol and Drug Partnership Award for Entertainment, the Choose Life Award for Concept Interpretation, the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service Award for Video Performance, and overall FIRST PLACE

So well done to all involved in the huge improvement on last years impressive debut, and good luck with the Scottish Final in Dundee on 13th June. I know how hard you all worked to achieve this.

Also a very honourable mention to Wick High School who picked up seven awards:

WICK HIGH SCHOOL (http://www.wick.highland.sch.uk/), Wick, Caithness, Highland: the Award for Student Leadership, the Award for Press Coverage, the Award for Cultural and Educational Achievement, the Award for Positive Inclusion, the CK Events Award for Concept Originality, the Highland Council Award for Make-Up Design, and the Highland Council Award for Stage Crew
