Fatality was a Wick man
THE teenager who sustained fatal injuries in the road accident at Hastigrow Bridge, near Bower has been named.
He was 17-year-old Christopher Durrand from Wick. The other occupant of the car, also aged 17, is said to be “stable” at Caithness General Hospital.
The vehicle left the road and hit a tree. Police have appealed for witnesses.
