Police concerned about 13-year-old's wellbeing
Police are appealing for sightings of a 13-year-old boy who has been reported missing from a remote address in the Altnabreac area of Halkirk.
Imhotep Booth, 13, was last seen at around 0900 this morning at his home in a remote part of the Aultnabreac area.
Police are clearly concerned for his safety and wellbeing and have already carried out searches involving officers and Police dogs, however, were forced to stop as darkness fell.
A major search is planned for first light tomorrow morning.
In the meantime Police would ask anyone who may have seen Imhotep anytime between 0900 and now to contact them.
He is described as being 5ft 4ins, of slim build, cropped brown hair and is noticably suntanned after having just returned from holiday.
Imhotep is believed to be wearing a navy fleece top, green wellington boots, blue tracksuit trousers with a white stripe and may be carrying a grey Reebok rucksack.
Anyone with any information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Police in Thurso on 01847 893222.
