If you're in Thurso I'd suggest you visit E & M Engineering and get an expert to do it. Depending on how severe the bend in it is, perhaps new forks would be a safer bet since the metal may have been weakened, straightening them may reduce the integrity of the metal further.

I second that, E & M are brilliant and will not botch the job and leave you vulnerable.

If its a very slight bend it should be OK, but not if there's a good bend in it. Once a fork has been weakened by bending, no amount of expertise can restore its strength. A new one would be about £100 from ABE.
