Hi All... My son is interested in starting either kickboxing, karate or some kind of martial art. I have next to no knowledge about any of these so was looking for some information on local classes available in the thurso area and what kind people think is good and why. He is 10.

Karate classes are run for kids in Wick assembly Rooms every Saturday at midday. Age 6 and upwards. £2.50 per lesson.

No Ecky Thump up here Alrock. You can`t get `t black puddins!!!!!

Sorry kitty. Thurso classes in Mount Pleasant school every Thursday at 6.00pm.

There is Karate in Thurso British Legion on Monday at 6pm. Or Kick Boxing in the Weigh Inn on Wednesday at 5pm both will take 10 year olds.

KSD Martial Arts have classes in Thurso on Tuesday evenings at 7pm in the scout hall at the riverside, Halkirk on Sundays and Castletown on Fridays.
