Man accused of asking for hug after entering house uninvited
A THURSO man is alleged to have entered a neighbours’ house uninvited, asked two of three female occupants for a hug and produced a knife after refusing to leave.
Francis MacPhee (22) of 27 Albyn Court, Thurso, appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court, today, and denied a charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner. The offence, on Monday, is alleged to have occurred at No 29 while the accused was on bail.
A fresh bail application was refused and MacPhee was ordered to be remanded in custody pending his trial on March 1.
