the elections for the community councils are happening just now
but what do they do?
what should their remit be?

Community Councils
Would be a great idea, to get views on what the community think, but unfortunately they have no teeth, the Highland Council just have to consider there views, then they do what they like. At this present time I would consider them a complete waste of time. I know some who are community Councillors, just so it looks good on there CV, Sad people.

what is everyones views on these? - Community councils have no power - scrap them.
the elections for the community councils are happening just now - Generally there are no elections as people cannot be bothered.
but what do they do? Put the word councillor after their names?
what should their remit be? Use loud hailers to see if they can infact be heard!!
