"Dress casual - Stewart loved his scruffy jeans"

MOURNERS attending the funeral of Caithness crash victim, Stewart Milnes, are being encouraged to dress down.
His family announcing the funeral arrangements – a service will take place in Thurso on Saturday – have invited friends and associates to come in casual wear added “Stewart loved his scruffy jeans”.
The service will be held at the Ormlie Lodge Rooms, commencing at 11am and Mr Milnes will be laid to rest at Watten Cemetery. The family lived in the village before moving to Isauld Lodge, Reay.
Mr Milnes (26) died on Friday when his car left the A836 Reay-Scrabster road, at Scrabster Brae and hit a section of dry-stone dyke.
He worked as a community mental health nurse and was keen to get involved in community life, having recently joined Caithness West Community Council.
It will be family flowers only at the funeral but donations at the service will be in aid of Stepping Stones and the Balmore animal welfare centre.
