Phones Off ?

Does anyone know the extent of the problem with the landline phones in the Thurso / Weydale Area, it has been off since the lightening on Wed night, BT have advised that it will be next week before an engineer is available, just wondering how much of the area is affected, thanks.

Right along to Sordale. Cant get an engineer for my folks till Tues :(

Little help now but BT will pay compensation for time the lines are out of action. A few years ago I got £124 for the phones being out for 9 days. Let's hope the compensation is still good :)
