Currently in the process of getting my bike cleaned/wheels replaced etc. however need to replace the bearings etc. and wondering if anyone in or around Thurso willing to give us a hand/advise for beer money etc.

Just use plenty of grease around the bearings to keep them in place otherwise you will have problems refitting them.

If you're having problems getting the old bearings out, stick the wheel in the freezer overnight. The bearings will then slide out easily. If you're having problems getting the new bearings in, stick the bearing in the freezer. Simples!

You'll get a bike wheel into just about any chest freezer. Taking the tyre off helps.
