Can you help. I want to know if anyone can recommend a good solicitor with a knowledge of probate.

i dont know the circumstances as to why you need a solicitor for a probate matter, but if the deceased will is upto date and simple you can fill in the paper work yourself. Its not hard just time consuming if its advive on probate go into the bank and they will recommend a company who will give you free advice, most charge a % about 3% I think of the estates value so best to handle things yourself if possible before going to the parasites like solicitors

Personally I would suggest that you visit CAB and they will be able to advise you best.

Thanks for replies but I think I must of phrased it wrong. I want a good solicitor and as a benefit has dealt with probate problems, not to handle probate.

CAB will be able to point you in the right direction as they have list of Solictors.
