Man alleged to have made death threat to former partner

A THURSO man has been accused of threatening to kill his former partner.
The accused, Campbell Duncan Freeman, will also stand trial on charges vandalism.
Freeman (47) of Flat 32, Ormlie Lodge, pleaded not guilty when he appeared from custody, today. He was remanded until his trial date, January 19.
The six charges alleged that he sent his former partner, Mary McIntyre, threatening and abusive messages by telephone and mobile texts and he is further accused of car vandalism by smashing a windscreen and breaking a rear window George Crescent, and breaking a wiper in Duncan Street, both Thurso.
The incidents are alleged to have taken place between December 18 and 19.

Remanded after alleged domestic incident

LEE Brogan denied behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at his home in Kennedy Terrace, Wick.
Brogan (33) pleaded not guilty when he appeared from custody and had his case continued until Thursday.
The charge accuses him of shouting and swearing at his partner, Laura Boyd, on Monday, while on bail.
Sheriff Andrew Berry remanded him meantime.
