The amount of scam emails im getting in my inbox seems to be increasing the closer to christmas...
Has anyone else noticed it?
I had 2-3 a day a few months ago, but, in the last month its more like 10-20 of the darn things coming through per day if not more!
Overseas lotterys, barristers, FBI, and old wifies in nigeria wanting to give me money in exchange for my bank details as well as banks whom I do not have accounts with wanting me to verify my details.
Its starting to annoy me and my spam folder has never been so full....

Have you been getting the one which appears to be from Ebay saying you haven't paid for an item? Been getting loads of these.

Also a few from the Co-operative Bank and Paypal saying there are problems with my account.

I don't get about 10-20 per day but still a lot which is a flipping pest.

So how many websites and other places have you given your email address to? Every time you enter it on a webpage, particularly one that displays it, is an open door to spammers!

That sounds about right, they usually ramp it up on the way to Christmas but during and after the volume of spam and phishing e-mail drops down quite a lot.
