No-one hurt after forklift and Land Rover collide
THE Health and Safety Executive confirmed today it was carrying out an
investigation into an accident at SubSea7's fabrication yard, at
Wester, in Caithness, yesterday, where a Land Rover and a large forklift
carrying pipes, collided. Fortunately no-one was injured.
The steel pipes crashed through the cab of the landrover, narrowly
missing the driver, and the four occupants. The quartet was taken to
Caithness General Hospital, at Wick for a check-up but were not
detained.
Police are also carrying out enquiries into the incident.
