Trial fixed for the New Year
A THURSO teenager is facing five charges of theft.
Dominic Long, of Holborn Avenue, Thurso, pleaded not guilty to all of them when he appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court today.
It’s alleged that the 16-year-old stole four bottles of Buckfast, make-up and toiletries, hats and a toy, from shops in Thurso, and DvDs from a shop in Wick.
Long’s co-accused, Martin Budge (17) of Dunnet Road, Thurso, denied having reset a bottle of Buckfast. In both cases, the offences are alleged to have occurred on Saturday.
The accused will stand trial on January 18.
