Caithness Sword found

A relative has died and left in our possession a sword that we would like to know more about. It is engraved with the following"George W. Caithness" and has in small letters near the handle "Cincinnati Recalia Co" Does anyone know anything about this sword??

I think this may have been piece to Freemasonry regalia as the Cincinnati Regalia Coy was a maker of such regalia see the link.
