Anyone else not getting any cold water in Thurso?

Scottish Water are "investigating"

Better not go for a number 2!

My water is in order but if you need toilet just get a bucket of water from your garden to flush down the toilet! Don't think there will be a shortage there :)

well i don't know if it a water supply pipe, but when i took a pic of the dammies earlier, there is a 'fountain' at the edge of the field, maybe? ....

I'm Mt Vernon and have been told its fine - I'm stranded at work, hubby in Wick and meant to pick me up in passing - everyone else been sent home :(

I have just phoned scottish water and they have a recorded message stating that there is a burst water main.

Im in Springpark as well and the water is ok - but stocked a couple of pots of water just in case

We're at the top end of Janet street and we have cold water.

I called their information hot line.
There is a burst water main. They say they will have a squad on it shortly to fix it. There may be no water, loss of pressure and discouloured water which they say is harmless.
If they do get it fixed, my hat goes off to them in this weather.

like i said in my thread. part of the bridge is down at he cemetry and it has fractured the main pipe, the water board were at mums looking for the stop cock earlier.
