Just spoken to admin at Miller and they are quite prepared, and understanding, if parents keep kids going home for lunch off school this afternoon. Also they do not expect a myriad of phonecalls saying 'I'm keeping so and so off this afternoon' - they're taking it for granted that it's the weather.

Another parent who has siblings staying in for lunch has asked if the older kids can be picked up at the same time as younger kids and the answer was yes. I'm not sure if you should contact the school to request the older child be ready to go but think it would probably be required.

yes you do have to let them know which child you want to be released from which class at the young ones bell at 2.45 ,I just explained i was picking the little one up and didn't want to come back down for the older one in 30mins, but that comes under the annoying new times that they introduced. However if the weather keeps up i wouldn't be surprised if they just let the older ones go early anyway
