Webpages Loading

I seem to have a problem loading certain webpages. For example when i try and access ebay, it takes ages to load and then the layout is screwed up and there are no pictures? but other websites are fine like this one :mad:[evil]

BT were/are having weird issues, they don't seem to be able to route to the Akamai CDN (Content Delivery Network). Which is basically a network of servers where companies host some or all of their website resources for resilience and speed. As lots of companies use CDNs as image hosts that's the problem.

It's fine for us and the other connections we've tried now but the sites we noticed problems with were:

bbc.co.uk
apple.com
microsoft.com
facebook.com
ebay.co.uk

I'm sure it affected others though.
