Ploughs working on Tongue-Lairg route
Northern Constabulary report that the B9007 (Dava) Ferness to Carrbridge road remains closed at the snow gates.
The A836 Tongue to Lairg road between Altnahara and Crask is affected by drifting snow, however ploughs are working in the area.
All other routes in the area are open and passable with care.
If travelling drivers should be aware of the risk of ice and further snow, to allow extra time for their journey and to ensure that both they and their vehicle are suitably equipped and prepared for changeable wintry weather, to exercise caution and drive according to the prevailing weather and road conditions.
