hiya does anyone no where i could get a code to unlock my dvd player to watch copies?

Hi Chick, do they need a code? our's play 'copies' no problems, i heard someone say that the more expensive dvd players won't play them just the cheepo ones!

A couple of questions so that it is easier for other people to help you:

What make is your DVD player?

What format was your copy disk originally? (DVD+R, DVD-R)?

and just for the craich, what dvd had you copied!! lol :eyes

Sorry, haven't got a clue. All I know is that my DVD writer drive does both! I do use DVD+R disks for data and they work fine. Don't actually know what DVD videos are done in. :D

more often there done in the - format think its ti do with them being picked up better in a dvd player

DVD+R and DVD-R are about because diferent companys started with different ideas. To be ahead of the other like betamax and vhs.
There were 3 to start with there was DVDRAM aswell but these fased out very quick.
But seems as if both + and - are here to stay .
Both can be used for data or movies .
