I have one red light on my xbox can anyone help me its not the red ring of death

you will need to xclamp it all red lights 1 2 3 and 4 lights meen you have to xclamp it

take a small drill, 1mm should so it, and drill a hole into the offending LED.
That will release the fault to atmosphere and the LED will extinguish.

I tried the towel trick nothing over heated it to see if I got to ring got it left to cool down plunged in work for a bin then the same

Have you tried unplugging it from the wall? The red light should go out in a few seconds, and you can then go off and do something altogether more useful! ;)

I have tried everything nearly sorry did I can get it fixed for 15 pound

Is the red light solid or flashing? Also which quadrant is the light in?

Anyway, try unplugging everything and leaving it for 5 to 10 minutes then plug it all back in. If that doesn't fix it, remove the hard drive and then turn it on, if it works then try reconnecting the hard drive. If that fixes it the it was just a loose connection if not then the hard drive if damaged. If none of this worked then it's probably a deeper hardware issue.
