20 years to the day.....
that the world lost one of its most talented, flamboyant and eccentric personalities.

Freddie Mercury.

I for one, shall never forget the genius that freddie was and the music he brought us.
my childhood idol, and favourite artist to date.
his music still lives strong, and will do for many many years to come.

in the words of the man himself...

"I won't be a rock star. I will be a legend."

how right he was :o)

(just a wee PLEASANT thread for freddie fans to commemorate freddie etc)

I remember the last song he did before he died. These Are the Days Of Our Lives I loved the waistcoat he was wearing on the video. Love the song as well but sad to because you could see how ill he was.
Sadly missed.
And wow it does not seem like 20 years. Where is time going... Too fast for me. :)

I was raised on Queen (and The Beatles), I have very eclectic musical tastes, but Freddie Mercury has to be one of the best performers EVER. I never idolised him (John Lennon has always been the man for me!) but there's no denying he was an absolute rock legend. He may have gone too soon but left behind an everlasting legacy of awesome music.

Hi Niall
I agree with all the good comments about Queen. What is "spotify" looks like some sort of file sharing site. What will it do to my computer if I download it?
Regards AK.

Spotify is not file sharing, its a music streaming utility (free side is sponsored by advertising) which you can pay a small subscription for and get millions of songs to listen to.

As far as I know it doesn't do anything adverse to your PC. (pretty sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong)
