Whats your thoughts on this?
I was looking into getting the girls the Innotab for Christmas (but luckily not too bothered ) but was astounded by the fact they are sold out, but tons of them are getting sold for way more than their "price" on ebay.
People are getting them and holding on to them just to sell and just the order code for argos are getting sold for around a tenner.
Wasnt it last year or was it the year before the zhu zhu hamsters were selling on ebay for £50 when if you could get them in shops they were only £10.
Talk about commercialisation and cashing in on Christmas.....

I think its crazy.....and wonder how long the must have toy will actually be played with!

Was similarly shocked to see the number of Adidas Originals branded 'fashions' being worn by so many coming down from Thurso High School on Friday. My own kids have been clamouring after the same, but having seen the artificially-inflated price tags involved I've politely declined!

I dont think im one to make sure my kids have those must have toys tbh. I get them what i know they are interested in. They are called "must have toy" then slapped with a large price tag. Not worth it in my opinion. My kiddies are into lego, lego and more lego! Throw in some cars, trains and dinosaurs and its a winner all around!

Thank goodness!
I thought I was the only one not bothered about the "must have" toys.
We write a list (or circle items in the catalogues as ability goes) and if you get one or two from your list alls well.....no ponies or quad bikes are going to be bought! ever ever..over my dead body etc....
Thak goodness that hello kitty rules for the girls and just cars/trains etc works for Euan.....for now ... I will hate the teenage years...when its I must have xxx cause its cool etc.

"Must Have," toys are for the gullible and those that have more money than sense...get your children a toy that they wil identify with or have an interest in.
