Missing Cat

Molly, a one year old tabby and white cat has gone missing from Argyle Square. Could everyone in that area please check sheds and outbuildings in case she has sneaked in. There have been fireworks in our area the past few nights and she may have gotten a fright from them and taken shelter. If anyone thinks they may have seen molly please ring 605628.

I really hope that Molly comes home soon as I know how worrying it is.:(

What on earth are people doing setting off fireworks already?! If a cat is timid this can frighten them and make them run for cover.

Pet owners are given advice on what to do in the run up to Guy Fawkes but what are you supposed to do when they are set off this early?

Anyway here's hoping you find her safe and well.

We found a small Tabby cat with Red Coller lost in Girnigoe Street and handed to Vets on Friday at 5.30pm.

Thanks for that Allda - unfortunately that wont be Molly - she did not have a collar on.

We found a small Tabby cat with Red Coller lost in Girnigoe Street and handed to Vets on Friday at 5.30pm.

This wee cat is now in foster care with Cats Protection.

Sadly no one has claimed him/her (haven't checked yet!) which is a real shame.
It is such a friendly wee soul.
