Sound problems

I have a Logitech sound system hooked up to my p.c. and have recently moved hose. When I connected everything back up I have no sound. Have checked all the wiring and mute buttons all seems ok but computer keeps telling me speakers are unpluged. can hear a humming noise from speakers.

What colour is the socket you've plugged your speakers into on the PC? It's *usually* green...
