Puppy settling in

As some of you know, yesterday we went to Scrabster to pick up little Daisy, the KWK9 Lurcher pup, who was staying with foster parents. She is absolutely beautiful, and I'm happy to say she is settling in well! I know a few people have asked me for photos already, so here's a few. She's certainly a ball of energy, but once she switches off, that's her 'out' for hours! She's met both dogs and both cats, and no squabbles or cross words. Our big cat is the boss in this house, and he has told her that!

She was called Daisy, however as we have already had a Daisy in the past, we have renamed her Ceitidh (the Gaelic version of Katie). She doesn't know it yet, but seems to be getting there! We already love her to bits, and we're so glad she's part of the family.

She's definitely got the lurch norty look already ;)

I love lurchers for their exhuberance but also that , like you said, they do switch off and will sleep for HOURS! Generally they are the ultimate dog for people who work (usually)

I now have 4!!! 2 were also KWK9ers

Ah Sara thanks for sharing have been wondering all day how she was settiling in, although knowing her she will have taken over glad to know the cat is the boss that little madam needs a boss! lol

Love her new name and am sure she will love her new life, she certainly has had a rags to riches story a poor little scrap when she arrived as a stray to the police station in wick, infested with fleas and suspected mange and seriously underweight.

thank you on behalf of all of kwk9 for giving her such a lovely home and i am sure she will repay many times over with the love and devotion only a dog can give.
