I went to see Dougie Maclean in the Perth Concert Hall on Friday evening and what a night, Dougie can hold an audience with his humour and talent.
He had a backing group of 150 souls, yep 150. The Lothian & Border Police Choir, the Tayside Police Choir and InChorus from Peebles, what a mixture of sounds and music.
I have to admit I was a little biased, as my youngest son was making his debut appearance with the L&B choir, his wife and my grandaughter are also members of the choir, to say I was proud to hear Dougie and the choirs harmonising to his song Caledonia, does not say enough about how I felt that night.
