There is long way to go for Asda. Everyone should remember that so far they have only applied for outline planning permission. That is not Planning Permission for the building. That has still to be submitted with more possibilities for objections etc.

This is entirely different from Tesco who went straight for full planning permission. The clock is not even ticking until a full planning application has been passed - a long way to go yet.
