Ok folks as highlander's quiz got such a good response maybe you'd like to have a go at this. All the answers are place names within the county but be warned the clues may be cryptic.

1. Castle fit for a queen.
2.Task completed we hear.
3.Where the water runs out.
4.Where an Australian bird woos his love.
5.Home of the evil sheriff.
6.Man preparing to shave?
7.Named after an Orkney Island.
8.Boy by senior teacher.
9.A dirty mark.
10.What fishes breath with.
11.Silly person to leave we hear.
12.Highest point in the county.
13.Did King Harold say his prayers here?
14.Cured pig meat.
15.High place fot some male sheep.
16.Trim this for a better light.
17.Dwelling place for a lady.
18.Inter Mr Winton?
19.Plus 2 and 2 could be heard on the links!
20.What the wife might do when your late home from the pub.
